Elio Longoria
President / Broker

Elio graduated from The University of Houston with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Marketing and Minor in Spanish. Elio spent 16 years in the beverage industry where he led sales teams in various key markets across the U.S. for Coors Brewing Co. and Heineken USA to help launch new brands, drive distribution and gain share in competitive market environments.

Inspired by his previous work, Elio saw an opportunity to offer clients a unique freight experience in a challenged industry. Following in his parent’s footsteps, Elio transitioned into entrepreneurship and founded Inner Fire Logistics LLC. The mission is to simplify the client’s shipping needs and impact their businesses beyond freight by owning the move from start to finish!

Elio currently oversees Sales and Operations for Inner Fire Logistics and new business development. He leads a team who’s helped support the rapid growth of Inner Fire Logistics without compromising service standards.

When Elio is not moving freight, he enjoys spending time with family, outdoors, grilling, sporting events and Jiu-jitsu.


Rosa graduated from The University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Minor in Spanish.  Rosa brings over 20 years of experience in Financial Management and Treasury.

Prior to helping launch Inner Fire Logistics LLC, Rosa held leadership roles in the Finance Departments of several companies in the Treasury and Banking Industries including USAA Real Estate Company, Hewlett Packard, New Quest Properties and Amazon.

She oversees our company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash management and financial reporting.

When Rosa is not crunching numbers, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, traveling, attending sporting events and trying new restaurants.

She is a trusted leader that is a true asset to our team, guiding us towards financial excellence and helping us achieve our organizational goals.

Our Story

Begins with the aspiration for freedom, to leave an impactful legacy, and to overcome the fears of taking on new challenges. When a close friend told me about his new ventures in logistics, I grew curious and dove headfirst into “YouTube U’ to learn all that there was to learn when it came to trucking and logistics. After several thousand hours of research, I concluded that we would start a freight brokerage to help solve unique problems that I had learned existed between the Shipper, Broker, and Carrier roles. ​

I gave myself 6 weeks to build a business plan off what I learned from YouTube, a few books and my failed attempts to cold call prospect clients and carriers. Once our FMCSA license came in the mail, we were off to the races to gain new customers on February 15, 2021 (the week Texas Froze). Nonetheless, we landed our first customer on February 26, 2021, at 1 pm and they requested 98 Truck Loads of Steel pipe with 3 days lead time. I quickly responded to the email during my lunch break at a sandwich deli shop with, “My team and I are on it”! ​

While still working my full-time job in the beer industry we managed to move 77 legal pipe loads, overcome problems I’d never been exposed to, get financing support and move our first Heavy Haul Load in less than 5 business days of launching the company. I immediately got the “Bug” and decided to leave my full-time job with the support of my wife and kids agreeing to take on this chance as a family. I recall telling Rosa (my wife), “I can’t go to my grave without giving myself a chance, to not take a risk, and bet on US”. 30 Days after I left my full-time job Rosa left her employer and joined Inner Fire Logistics full-time as the VP of Finance. We had a successful year 1 and then grew our business 4x in year 2. ​

Today, with the support of our growing staff we proudly serve over 20 key shipping clients, partner with 1,500+ carriers across the U.S. who’s helped deliver over 5,000 truckloads and a shipping experience unlike no other. ​

We will continue to grow our business to become the preferred Logistics Service provider and positively impact our partners beyond freight through a professional relationship built off trust and respect. ​
